Neostrata was founded in 1988 by two doctors and is now established in 70 countries worldwide. Eugene Van Scott, MD, a dermatologist, made a revolutionary discovery in 1974 which he wrote a scientific paper on. He found that alpha hydroxyl acids (AHAs) could be used on human skin, resulting in an improvement of aging and aiding in the treatment of specific skin condition such as acne, dry skin, and pigmentation. These Neostrata products like Neostrata facial cleanser, Neostrata LIP conditioner, etc. are widely used all over the world.
